I could not use the hire car option
Only issue I had was poor information regarding hire car, I was told ring up one day before it was to be given to be repaired. Next day i called back and was told hire car was only available once the car had been accessed. And was told I pick up from Eurocars in Parramatta between 9-5, i work these hours and not in this area. I managed to hire a car from someone else so am out of pocket now. Poor communication on the meaning and extent of the hire car.

Fast, efficient claims process
I cannot recommend Budget Direct highly enough after having to claim for an accident where I was not at fault because the other driver didn’t have insurance. From no queue on the claims phone line, to friendly, efficient service, conveniently located repair garage, the process was faultless.

Frequent review of preferred reppairers
I have always been suspect of preferred situations , I initially went to a repairer that was recommended by my usual mechanic , the repairer was one that he used for his own vehicles . A week went by after I had taken my vehicle for them to examine and no quotation was forthcoming .
I then took my vehicle to another repairer that was close by to my son’s business , I was impressed by how clean their operation was , they inspected my vehicle and said they would get in touch with Budget and get things under way .
Just in case , I then immediately took it to the Budget preffered repairer . I was informed that it would be best if I sourced the canopy required for my vehicle for them WT ? I was to do their work for them ? The preceding repaire rang me the next day to say that they had located a canopy , and when they expected delivery of it and when they be in contact with me to have my vehicle brought down to them to enable them to do the repairs . My vehicle was ready for me on the day they said it would .

Quick and Easy
Following a slight collision with another vehicle, I rang Budget who immediately organised repairs with my local repairer. The whole claims process was simple quick and easy, which is what you really want when you have a busy lifestyle.
Repairs were very good indeed, completed within a few days of the accident and thus I was also highly satisfied with my local repair company as well as Budget Direct.

No communications and bad choice of repairer
I literally never had a single email or phone message replied to. I had to call (and wait) every time.
The selected repairer was not able to get parts, and the car waited there for weeks. When they finally did the repair, they ripped a seat and damaged interior finish. Parts to fix this took another 2 months to come.

Not what I expected
When making a claim I requested that there should be an investigation. I provided witnesses’ details but in the end I was told that insurance representatives did not contact them.
I was not kept informed about the progress of my claim despite making several phone calls
Also I did not receive a comparable detailed quote before the repairs commenced

Long process claim
Third party committing fraud and your investigation team won’t do anything about it... I sent in as much info as i could, I was told they would go out and inspect the third partys vehicle for any new repairs that will change the outcome of my claim, and they didn’t instead they do a “desktop investigation” and tell me I’m at fault when the other car turned into my driver side door... not good enough...

The most compassionate people at budget!
My claim was quite complexed and a very difficult situation, budget were understanding, compassionate & went above and beyond to help me solve the issues I faced (from the police) in resolving my claim. They were patient and worked Fast to ensure my claim would be finalised as quickly and as efficiently as possible. I can’t thank and recommend them enough!

Kangaroos should have CTP Cover
I had a low speed accident with a kangaroo. I was not at fault but will lose 2 points on my no claims as Kangaroos are not insured!! Whilst all went well with the claim, not looking forward to the renewal note next year.
