They approve your claim, no problem
The claims process works... just slow. 8 weeks from accident till car was at repairer. There wasn’t a concern about them paying. But given the accident happened in a car park and we were stationary, there were ‘at fault’ complications. Still not sure whether the witness was called but we paid the excess and the car got fixed. Not sure whether I will renew.

I couldn't be happier with the service I got from Budget Direct, always friendly and helpful, the claims process was amazing to me... i called, they recognised my number, had all my policy details, no mucking around... I advised someone had hit me, i provided their details and they approved me over the phone in 10 min, the Panelbeater called me 20 min later; really happy with the repairer also.. it was so easy, I'm really happy...

Great service from Budget Direct
I recently had a broken windscreen and luckily had car insurance with Budget Direct.
They were extremely helpful from the moment I rang them.
Their preferred repairer rang me quickly, got everything underway and kept me informed of when my repair was likely to be done. I had an unusual windscreen that took a few days to get in but they kept me up to date throughout the whole process and once the new windscreen arrived, had me booked in and repaired in no time.

Some hit my car from behind and he was speeding. He touched my back end but no damage.so I never made claim but informed budget direct.
Two months later I escaped my car due to mechanical failure.Then I received claim from speeding guys insurance
I called budget direct and they say to defend me they need excess of $850 but it states if the no damage to my car and I don't make claim ,I do not pay excess until its proven I was in wrong. That have threatened me for money and even without receiving any paperwork or evidence decide to take other side of person in wrong because they want excess. I'm going to court with this as I wont be bullied into paying money to them.
I paid my premium but because I never reinsured with them they do this.
When it goes to court the truth will come out I have evidence I need.
Shame on you budget direct.

Claim made easy!
I made a claim recently on a hail damaged car which turned out to be a total loss. The entire process was made easy with the help of the knowledgeable staff who answered every question each step of the way. Very happy with the way it was all handled.
