Not fix everything
The assessor would not fix the glove box that was broken in the accident. He sey he could not see how it broke and would not fix it. Me it was not broken before.

Great experience
My car was hit while parked and the driver who hit me wasn't organising repairs or returning my messages so I asked my insurance people - Budget Direct - to take care of it and from that point on it went beautifully, no problems at all, very happy with the entire process.

Ladies in the office were extremely pleasant to deal with.
The end result was excellent.

Took way too long

All claims process was extremely satisfying but was informed because i was not at fault and would not lose my no claims rating i proceeded to get an online quote for a new car i had to purchase which came in around $455 so when i rang to purchase the girl told me it would be around $560 from memory i queried why and she said it was because of the accident which i was absolutely faultless in so i received another quote from bingle which came in around $437 so i purchased my new insurance from bingle.

Super easy online claims process
I couldn't believe how easy it was to submit my car insurance claim online. I didn't have to make one phone call to Budget Direct. I completed the claim form and submitted it online. I was then provided details of an insurance assessor close to my address and could make an appointment directly with them online via Budget Directs website. Following the assessment, I received confirmation that my claim had been approved and all I had to do was to pay my excess before collecting the car from the repairer.

We had minor rear end damage thanks to a careless driver to our very low mileage 2011 Mazda 2.The Budget team were very helpful and informative.We presented our car to the repairer (Westside Collision Center - Yamanto),for assessment where they mentioned how well we looked after the car.We arranged a 3 day window for the repair.The vehicle was repaired on time and when i inspected the vehicle i could not find any issues.Its been a week since repairs and i still can"t believe how well the repair looks,i have looked everywhere for faults and can not find a thing wrong apart from the better paint finish than new- even the metallic paint match is perfect.Highly recommend Budget Direct as insurer and their repair network.No dodgy repair on our claim.

Poor experience, still not happy.
Budget for a reason. 3 weeks from the day my car was picked up, to returned to me. And still needing the repair fixed.
Zero communication before, during and after the process. And they found the cheapest solution to the repair.
Everything they do is Budget.

smoothest insurance claim ever!!
I cannot fault Budget Direct on their smooth, caring and professional manner in which they handled my claim. My car was damaged as a result of a near collision between vehicles in front of me that resulted in me running over debris flicked into my path. My car had significant damage underneath without looking too bad from the front, and I was devastated and upset. The whole process was made easier to deal with due to Budget's claims department being fair, understanding and flexible with how best to sort out repairs, as my car was stuck at the local dealership which was where I limped to after the accident. Even the dealership praised Budget on how easy it was to deal with them, as they were in general scathing about insurance companies!.

Could not have been easier.
This was my very first car accident and insurance claim since I got my license 18 years ago.
From the easy data entry to the info provided about the progress of my claim, I could not think of making this process easier.
Will continue to use Budget Direct as my preferred car insurance.

VERY POOR FOR CLAIM
VERY POOR.MADE A MISTAKE SWITCH TO BUDGET TO SAVE FEW BUCKS.I DID NOT REALISE THAT AFTER CLAIM IT IS GOING TO BE SO RUDE TO TALK WITH THERE STAFF.GOING BACK TO AAMI ATLEAST MILLION TIMES BETTER SERVICE .
