Facepalm. You get what you pay for
Even though I can appreciate that when my car was rear ended it was 2 weeks before Christmas so no one really wanted to help I was frustrated by how many times I had to make contact with Budget direct just to get the claim process going, my call logs will reflect this. On top of this I was incorrectly asked to get a driver history check for an accident that happened in a different car while my wife was driving that was not her fault. I tried several times to explain this to the original claims person who I lodged the claim with but I was still asked to get a driver history check so my I had to wait another 8 business days before my claim could begin because of a Budget direct employees incompetence.

Making my claim/s ... so so easy!
Due to no fault of mine - I've had the unfortunate bad luck of three accidents in eight months. I am now naming my car 'The Magnet' - but hopefully that's my 'three' and no more!
Each claim was so so easy - no stress! And no filling in forms was/is a huge bonus too.

Quick claim process
I submitted a claim for damage caused to my car in a shopping centre car park as we all know this is a common occurrence. Budget staff were quick and efficient with the processing of my claim. My car was assessed and repaired quicker than I imagined. Budgets premium is very competitive as I tend to shop around for best price best service hence the 5* rating.

I compared Budget Direct with many other car insurance providers, however I got the best deal from Budget Direct, they don't even boast about how affordable their insurance is, compared to other. It was a no brainer deal ,I saved 800 AUD by switching from my previous car insurer.

Overall experience very good
Someone bumped on my parked car but luckily I had taken budget direct insurance 2 weeks earlier. Budget direct have handled my claim process really well and they are cheap as compared to others with the same cover level.
