Great Customer Service
On any occasion I have had to contact the claims department of Budget Direct I have been very impressed with the level of customer service and empathy they showed towards me and the easy in assisting with my claims. I have on more than one occasion felt the need to contact the supervisor of the department and congratulate them on the performance of their staff. I wish other companies and government agencies would invest the same time in training their staff to achieve the same high standard of customer service.

How bloomin' amazing!
Very thankful to Budget Direct for implementing a system that means the same person looks after your claim from beginning to end. This was priceless because we never had to explain or repeat ourselves given that our allocated staff member knew about the claim and followed us through.
We were super lucky to be allocated Krystin, South African accent - based in or near Brisbane. From the very first telephone call as I stood with water lapping at my ankles to the final farewell call, Kyrstin was amazing. Super kind, professional, calming and a good listener as we thought aloud with her. It was an absolute delight to have our hand held through this process by Kyrstin who was consistently helpful over several calls. Kyrstin never hurried us and explained everything in detail.
I was at a dinner just 2 nights ago with people asking how my flood and floors etc were going and how moving out of home went and people were amazed at how good and easy the process was. Another lady told of the trouble and all the chasing up she had to do when she had an issue in her home - how she never spoke to the same person twice.... and I felt so very lucky and privileged to have been spared from such things. So thank you Budget Direct and in particular Kyrstin. When little disasters happen there's enough stress in people's lives so if you can be lovely, calm, consistent and as kind as Kyrstin was with us - the experience is made all the better.
I shall miss Kyrstin checking in with us on a regular basis - and I really would like to commend her on the way she carries out her role. Our experience of dealing with Kyrstin was wonderful. Thank you.
Well done Budget Direct - you certainly know what you're doing and do it well.

Faultless Claims Process
We recently had a claim that related to recent storms. The crew at Budget Direct were great, they provide exceptional service, they listened and acknowledged our feedback and made us feel empowered. Having previously managed a domestic insurance operation, I can appreciate the challenges that staff face after an extreme event such as this. We could not fault the service that was provided by Budget Direct during the claims process.

This was my first large scale claim and I was unaware of how complicated dealing with the contractors doing the repairs would be. Fortunately the Budget Direct reps continuously assisted me through what turned out to be a 9 month repair process! The continuous communication and availability of Budget Direct and the quick assistance to any issues were a relief to me in dealing with this stressful period.

Stress free claims process
We had a burst pipe that completely flooded our spare bedroom. By the time we realised it had damaged 2/3 of the carpet, bed frame and tall boy. The curtains were damaged and the wall and skirting boards. Mould damage throughout. Within Half an hour of the call to the claims team, the team were out and ensured we were safe from any mould spores, treating the area and drying it over the weekend. Throughout the whole claims process, the team kept us updated, checked in on us vis calls and supported us through the process of replacing our losses. I would wholly recommend Budget Direct.

Supportive Procedures
For our recent claim, Budget Direct were supportive, informative and maintained excellent communication through the entire claim and the repair works. I did not need to call for assistance as Budget Direct maintained consistent communications during the process. Highly recommend Budget Direct.

Turned a bad experience into a good one
Our house was broken into and Budget Direct were so helpful and supportive, they had contractors there with in the hour to make our home safe, and supported us through the whole claims process taking the stress and worry out of it. All the staff we dealt with were very friendly, helpful and sympathetic to our situation.

Water Damage Claim
I submitted a water damage claim to Budget Direct / Auto & General expecting it to be a drama. Natasha and her team were very accommodating and I would really recommend the business to anyone. Usually you only hear bad news on insurance claims but here is a good story !!

A joke
I insisted the damage to the roof of my garage was from water damage and wind tunneling. We have trained some heavy storms and budget direct industry this was normal wear and tear... what a joke!

Unbelievable understanding, patience and service
Budget are professional, great communicators and were very patient while waiting for my contractor to complete his task before the insurance claim could go ahead.
Once my contractor completed his work, Budget moved very quickly to get the internal rain water damage repaired.
