By switching to Budget I have saved almost 50% from my previous insurer who I have been with for over 15 years. The online process was very simple and the 5 star Canstar rating gave me the piece of mind to switch insurers.

Communication lacking
Lack of communication between the assessor and Budget resulted in a long claims process, only being resolved after 2 months after initial lodgement. It is unsatisactory that I should need to keep calling every few days to get an update.

Easy online process and great price
The online process at Budget was very smooth and easy to understand. There were no annoying sales calls after asking for a quote and it is all laid out on the website. No jumping through hoops to get the quote! And they were very competitive price wise!

Great Value
BudgetDirect provided the best value offering for my family (3 drivers under the age of 24). Cover is comparable with other providers however cost is significantly cheaper. BudgetDirect seem to understand that young drivers also require insurance at a reasonable price.

Budget Direct Insurance Experience
Recently had the need to renew my investment property insurance and looked online for quotes. Budget Direct's website was absolutely great and easy to follow and respond to questions. Then had the need to contact customer support and had an equally pleasing experience with their representative 'Jane'. I would like to say thank you to Michelle for making the process of purchasing our home and content insurance so easy. She explained the policy very well and provided clear answers to all my questions. I am also astounded that the policy is so much cheaper than other quotes that I had obtained. When I raised this as a concern, she told me that their policies are not meant to cover all needs in the world but can be designed to cover my individual needs. This is a feature that I think is very attractive and closed the deal.

I like the overall online purchase experience with Budget Direct. It has helpful guidances throughout the process. What I really like is the insurance calculator which helps you come up with a confident sum insured amount. Good job guys but I'm sure you will do better!
